Bus Schedule

All Buses operate Monday-Friday 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM
There will be a few minutes wait at the YMCA to allow parents time to access the child care program.

Buses will not operate NewYear's, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.

For specific questions, you can call the PTA office at 529-1489 between 8am and 4pm Monday thru Friday.

Bus Routes

There are four buses, each covering a different zone. The buses will deviate up to 3/4 of a mile to pick you up if you call in advance at 529-1489 24 hours before the desired pick-up.
There is a limit of 1 request per bus each half hour dirction of the bus ride. Persons requesting rides MUST be at teh curb at the scheduled time. Persons missing 3 scheduled rides in a 60-day period will be ineligible for scheduled rides for 30 days.
If you are unable to make the scheduled pick up, we require two hours notice or it counts as a missed trip.

Blue Zone

This zone includes much of the downtown area.

Green Zone

Reverses route from Mall down Ashment to Smiths, then serves 12^th street and does not go back to John Adams until after leaving Mall to go back to YMCA.

This zone is mainly Broadway to capital to Panchari to the Yellowstone Highway.

Other Information

Stops

PTA has designated Stops but does NOT travel a fixed route. Buses may travel between stops on different streets as they "flex" for scheduled pick-ups.

PTA does NOT offer curb-to-curb service but will "flex: for a scheduled home pick up. Passenger will then go to a designated stop. Other stops close to a designated Stop MAY be arranged 24 hours in advance if schedule permits.

Transfers

Transfer is issued only at the time when the fare is paid. It is valid only on the day of issue and for continuous passage in the same general direction. Not valid for stop-overs or return trips. Valid only on route circled.

Other Rules

1) Children 6 years old and younger MUST be accompanied by an adult.

2) No eating or drinking on the bus. Sudden stops might cause choking.

3) No pets allowed except special care animals such as seeing eye dogs. Some people are allergic to animals.

4) Drivers may request any diorderly passenger to leave the bus.

5) Vandalism shall be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.

6) EXACT change for the fare is required. Any amount over the fare shall be considered a donation and shall not be refundable.
